AUDITION DATES & TIME & LOCATION

• Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.

• Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

• If both audition dates fill up, a third will be opened up and advertised.

• Callbacks (if needed) will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 3:30 p.m.

• All auditions will be held at The KordaZone Theatre, 2520 Seminole Street.

• We will start PROMPTLY.

BOOKING YOUR AUDITION

• Auditions are by sign up ONLY and capped at 25 people per audition day.

• To sign up, please email evildeadkorda@gmail.com to book your day and receive the Audition Sign up Form.

• Must be 18+ to perform in this show.

WHAT TO PREPARE & EXPECT​

• Please bring your completed Audition Sign up Form with you to the audition.

• Auditions will be in groups. 

• 1 hour of dance, 1 hour of singing, 1 hour of sides. 

• Monologues DO NOT need to be prepared; you will be reading sides of the script provided on the day.

• Please prepare a 30 second rock song piece of your choosing to sing.

• Please be prepared to sing for 45 to 60 seconds in addition to your character song(s).

• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can dance in.

Ash (M; Baritone).

• The groovy hero of the show, starts off as a mild mannered college student working as a small town store employee that grows into a deadite killing, chainsaw wielding hero.​

Cheryl (F; Alto).

• Ash's younger sister. An awkward outsider that never wanted to be here. First to fall to the curse.

Annie (F; Alto).

• An independent archaeologist that don't need no man. Tough, and kickass, but loves to love.

Scott (M; Tenor).

• Ash's best friend. Dumb, himbo energy. Loves the ladies... maybe more.

Linda (F; Soprano).

Ash's girlfriend. Loves him dearly and wants to enjoy the cabin in the woods. Should have stayed home.

Shelley (F; Alto).

• Scott's... date? Not the brightest. Here for a good time only, and only a single thought in her head.

Ed (M; Bass).

• Annie's boyfriend and archaeological partner. Probably very smart. We will never know.

Jake (M; Baritone).

• The creepy hillbilly that always shows up. Should have probably listened to him.

EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL takes all the elements of the cult classic films, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness and combines them for one of the craziest, funniest, and bloodiest theatrical experiences of all time. Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes… and it’s all set to music. Song titles like “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons” and “What the F**k was That?” will have audiences rolling in their seats and screaming for more and more blood. This is a pure comedy start to finish, while having cheeky fun with the horror genre all along the way. It’s also the only show with a “Splatter Zone” section of the audience that gets covered in fake blood. EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL is unlike any LIVE show you’ve ever seen. JOIN US!!!!!! The show returns to The KordaZone Theatre after our 2017 production, this time helmed by Korda Board Member Joey Wright, whose recent Korda directing credits include 2024’s The Three Musketeers, 2023’s The Best Man, and 2022’s Clue.
